Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Los Angeles Provides specialized nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent health issues in a busy ER setting. Responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising nursing staff, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor; National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Additional Information: Delivers coordinated nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities, collaborates with the healthcare team, and participates in discharge planning. Performs clinical assessments, develops and implements care plans, and ensures patient safety and well-being.
