Job Summary
Cardiac Cardiovascular Specialty in Kansas City This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role includes performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and monitoring patients throughout the process in a healthcare facility setting.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Education Requirements: Valid RN license with appropriate certifications
- Location Requirements: Must be licensed or eligible to practice in the state of Kansas or Missouri
- Years of Experience: 1 year minimum required
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: Requires previous experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including catheter management, pacemaker insertion, angioplasty, and related procedures. Must be comfortable with various monitoring and procedural responsibilities, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and infection prevention.
- Clinical Responsibilities include assisting with central line insertion, blood product administration, and managing procedural sedation. The role involves regular floating between departments and facilities within scope, as needed.
