Emergency Room (ER) Nursing opportunity available in Gainesville, FL. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care at a standalone emergency department and trauma center, with a flexible schedule primarily during night shifts. The role requires adaptability and a strong background in emergency nursing procedures.
Job Details
- Position Title: RN Emergency
- Location: Gainesville, FL
- Length of Assignment: 13 weeks, from 11/16/2026 to 02/13/2027
- Schedule: Night shifts, 07:00 p.m. to 07:30 a.m., 36 hours per week, variable days including holidays and weekends
- Certifications and Education: 2-3 years of RN experience, prior travel experience required, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), ACLS required; TNCC preferred; EPIC license or compact license included in candidate file at the time of submission
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency nursing, with preferred experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers
- Additional Information: Must be a strong traveler, open to floating between two standalone emergency departments located 10 and 50 miles apart; flexibility essential; no parking decal required; nurses must pass a basic specialty and EKG test, including interpreting lethal rhythms, prior to start. Influenza vaccination is mandatory, with proof of compliance required before start date.
