Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, overseeing nursing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will adhere to safety standards and promote a patient-centered approach throughout their shift.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
• Certifications Required: BLS Certification, ACLS Certification (prior to first shift)
• Required Qualifications: Healthcare professional license holder, valid BLS certification, valid ACLS certification (if CIRH only), and a minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, providing patient education, documenting all assessments and interventions accurately, participating in patient rehabilitation programs, initiating discharge planning from day one, and maintaining clear communication with team members to ensure continuity of care.
• The RN will also supervise ancillary nursing personnel, ensure safety in patient care environments, contribute to team-building activities, and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Additional duties include managing supplies and equipment, assuming charge responsibilities as needed after orientation, and contributing to a positive work environment.
