Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Step Down Unit
• Location: Not specified, working in an acute care setting
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Education & Experience: Current licensure, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities: Providing patient care for adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as cardiac conditions, strokes, nephrology, and diabetes; managing titratable medication drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications; collaborating with charge nurses and care staff; adhering to unit policies including fingernail restrictions and exam protocols during orientation.
• Additional Information: Candidate must possess a valid drivers license for radius verification and be able to meet the specific unit criteria, including RTO restrictions and orientation requirements. Floating to medical floors, ICU, or rehab may be necessary.
