Description
Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves supporting surgical teams in various service lines, including GYN, Uro, Vascular, Plastic, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and more. The position requires cardiac experience and a Washington State license, with shifts scheduled on a rotating basis.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS Certification; minimum 1 year of scrub experience; Washington State license required.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, variable days from Monday to Friday, with start times at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include supporting a high volume of complex cases across multiple service lines using robot-assisted and traditional surgical techniques.
- Must have experience with ENT procedures, including FESS, septoplasty, cochlear implants, tympanoplasty, and laryngoscopy, along with DaVinci Xi robotic surgery.
- The role involves team collaboration, being available for 30-minute call response, and attending unit-specific orientation and training.
- No floating requirements.
- Scrub color/dress code is teal; scrubs are provided.
- The position is scheduled to start on 10/26/2026, with an end date of 01/25/2027.
- Submission of licensure is required, and charting is done through the EPIC system.
- Call requirements include one weeknight or weekend call per four-week schedule, with weekend calls rotating among staff and travelers.
