Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (MS REHAB) Madison, Wisconsin. This inpatient rehabilitation facility offers specialized programs for individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The nurse will provide high-quality care to adults with high acuity needs, supporting their journey toward maximum recovery and returning home.
Job Details
- Position: Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification.
- Education and Experience: Must have 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or another 24/7 skilled care environment, with preferred experience in medical surgical or inpatient rehabilitation settings related to patient acuity.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours/week.
- Additional Information: The inpatient rehab hospital functions similarly to a medical surgical unit with high patient acuity at times. Nurses are expected to assist CNAs and respond to patient needs promptly. Orientation begins October 20, 2026, with subsequent sessions on November 17, 2026, and December 1, 2026.
- Notes: Staff may be required to float to a satellite inpatient rehabilitation facility within 20 minutes in the near future.
