Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in the local healthcare organization. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients within the ICU setting. The nurse ensures delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Details:

• Position Description: This RN role requires delivering patient-centric care in the ICU, with responsibilities including evaluating patient needs, developing and updating care plans, and providing direct care based on physician orders and policy standards. The nurse will also supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel, document clinical activities, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or a valid RN license through reciprocity/compact, along with BLS certification. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area is preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday rotation; may include call and float to support units.
• Additional Information: Employees must maintain state-specific fingerprint clearance cards if required by the facility. No experience requirement explicitly stated; minimum of 0 years of experience assumed.
