Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Charlotte, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the Interventional Radiology department at a large healthcare facility. The role requires supporting adult patients across a full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses, with an emphasis on intraprocedural moderate sedation and cardiac imaging support in a TJC Stroke-accredited setting.

Job Details

  • Position: RN - Interventional Radiology
  • Specialty: Interventional Radiology
  • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, active license and national certification as applicable
  • Responsibilities include supporting nursing needs throughout Radiology, assisting in prep and recovery, administering intraprocedural moderate sedation, and managing cardiac and nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Technology/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical record system, Philips iSite picture archiving and communication system, Phillips monitoring system
  • Support within the department includes guest services and transport services.
  • Orientation includes administrative onboarding and departmental training, spanning from 1 day to up to 1 week as needed.
  • Weekend rotation required every weekend (WOW)
  • Call requirement with callback times between 30-60 minutes; sleep rooms are not available
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue
  • Parking: Surface lots and parking decks available at no cost
