Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a medical emergency hospital setting. This position involves providing high-acuity emergency care across all age groups, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and psychiatric patients. The role requires clinical expertise and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Location: Emergency Room (ER) department within a healthcare facility.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI). One year of experience in emergency care, trauma, or critical care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling high-acuity trauma, stroke, or psychiatric patients.
- Responsibilities: Deliver emergency medical care including trach and ventilator care, ICU drip maintenance, chest tube management, arterial line, central venous line (CVL), peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), midline, and port placements, Foley catheter insertion, orthopaedic device care, bipap/hiflow management, and continuous bladder irrigation.
- Submission Requirements: Active licenses and certifications must be current and verifiable.
