Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a medical-surgical specialty at a healthcare organization. The role involves providing patient care for a mix of medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiovascular patients in a neuro intermediate care environment. The assignment is scheduled to start on 11/02/2026 and end on 01/30/2027, with orientation occurring every other Monday.

Job Details

  • Position: IMCU RN Intermediate Care Unit registered nurse, specializing in medical-surgical, neuro, and cardiovascular patient care.
  • Location: Not specified; healthcare organization setting.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2 years of work experience minimum, including any relevant certifications or education requirements.
  • Additional Information: Orientation is held every other Monday. The assignment involves caring for patients with diagnoses across med-surg, neuro, and cardiovascular specialties, including stroke and neuro impairment. The unit supports to a degree weekend requests, but block scheduling cannot be accommodated. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission, and the client can cancel due to census within 36 hours. Experience with Cerner electronic health record is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work and support students and new hires, contributing to a collaborative culture.
