Job Summary
Trauma Surgery, Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU AMBULATORY), located in the region, is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a temporary assignment. The role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care in a 24-bed unit with a focus on orthopedic and general surgery patients. This position requires flexibility and clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) RN responsible for caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, primarily in orthopedic and general surgery cases within a 24-bed unit.
• Certifications/Education Requirements/Experience: Candidates must have either a degree verification of accreditation or a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience. A current license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Schedule: 12-hour daytime shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of PACU experience, ICU/ER experience, BLS and ACLS certifications. Prior travel experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: Prior EMR experience with EPIC preferred. All documents must be uploaded at time of submission; document deadline is the Monday prior to start date. All candidates should be flexible with floating assignments and RTO requests must be included at submission.
• Note: The position enforces a 50-mile radius rule from the facility.
