Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) RN Located in the Portland metropolitan area. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care on a Medical Surgical floor within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units, with a focus on adult patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS certification; valid state license; at least 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Surgical registered nurse.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include utilizing skills such as use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, starting and maintaining IVs, management of cardiac drips, blood product administration, and other critical nursing tasks.
• The role involves working in an interdisciplinary team that includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and radiology.
• Candidates should be prepared to float to other units as needed and adhere to all safety and clinical protocols.
