Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized critical care in a high-acuity setting, requiring expertise in cardiothoracic surgery, devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), and IMPELLA. The role includes rotating shifts with every other weekend, and will involve working both days and nights.

Job Details

  • Certifications and Requirements: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), must have 2+ years of experience in a similar setting, with cardiothoracic surgery experience and familiarity with devices like IABP and IMPELLA. Must have worked outside of the organization for at least 6 months to be considered.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Provide critical care to patients in the ICU and Intermediate Care Units, including floating between these units.
  • Additional Information: Orientation is weekly; any color scrubs are acceptable.
  • Submission: Candidates must be separated from the employing healthcare provider for at least 6 months. No experience requirement explicitly specified, but candidates must meet the above qualifications.
