Job Summary
Telemedicine Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry, Bryan and College Station, TX. This position involves providing specialized care for cardiac and neuro patients on a telemetry unit, supporting a Heart Attack and Stroke Center. Candidates must have experience with Epic electronic medical records and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms.

Job Details

• Position Description: Focuses on patients requiring intensive monitoring in a telemetry setting, including cardiac and neurological cases, and requires precepting and flexibility to float between campuses.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); 2 years of related experience required; candidate must have Epic electronic medical records experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as required. Self-scheduling is available but finalized by the manager.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips independently, pass the Basic Dysrhythmia exam, and be comfortable with cardiac and neuro patient care. Floating between campuses and monitor pods is required, with some shifts involving higher acuity floors.
