Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Local, 12-hour night shifts, starting November 3, 2026. This position involves providing high-acuity care in a busy, high-volume emergency department primarily serving adult and geriatric patients, with a small percentage of pediatric cases. The role requires an experienced ER RN capable of managing a variety of urgent medical conditions in a magnet-designated, stroke, and STEMI center.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER RN responsible for delivering emergency care in a high-volume, high-acuity environment with approximately 230 visits per day, comprising mainly adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric transfers to a partner hospital. The department utilizes Epic electronic medical records and supports a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and social services.
• Certifications: Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), CEN or CPN.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure in the state (must have a valid license at the time of submission), at least 1.5 years of ER experience (preferably 2 years), and documented experience in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work weekends, and at least six weekend shifts during a six-week cycle are required. The role may involve float assignments to related units and transport of patients to other facilities such as a children's hospital. The ER handles all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding previous employment at a similar facility, provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years, and confirm availability for the specified start date.
