Description
Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights located at the healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 14-bed ICU setting, assisting with advanced procedures such as hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, ICP, EVD, ventilator management, proning, thoracentesis, and trach care. The position requires a positive approach and strong clinical skills to support critically ill patients.
Job Details
- Position: RN in ICU with experience in Hemodynamics, CRRT, ICP, EVD, Ventilator Management, monitoring, Proning, Thoracentesis, Trach, Tain of 4 monitoring. Familiarity with Nitric Oxide, Meditech Charting, swan ganz catheter, Pacemakers, Hemodialysis, Central Line Setup/Insertion, TPN/PPN, and Chest Tube procedures.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: RN license, BLS, ACLS certifications required; 0 years minimum experience required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include providing high-quality critical care, assisting with procedures, and supporting patient stability.
- Unit Information: 14 beds, 26 staff members, patient ratios generally 2:1, equipped with vents, pumps, swan ganz catheters, CRRT, chest tubes, and occasionally balloon pumps and Impellas.
- Typical procedures include Central Line placement and Intubation.
- Dress Code: Scrub, Navy Blue.
- Shift Duration: Nights, with weekend and on-call rotations every other weekend.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must possess the required certifications and experience.
