Job Summary
This position is for a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in the ORT specialty, working at a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves supporting surgical teams during procedures, with a focus on obstetric and surgical care, including vaginal deliveries and obstetric surgeries. The technician will ensure the operating room is properly stocked and assist with patient transport and peri-care duties.

Job Details

• Location: The healthcare facility is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician within the ORT specialty, scheduled to start on 11/02/2026, with a potential end date of 02/01/2027.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the NBSTSA.
• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in surgical technology or operating room support.
• Schedule: Five (5) days per week, 8-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with 40 hours per week. Every other weekend is required.
• Responsibilities: Support OB surgical suites, handle room stocking, patient transport, and peri-care, following vaginal deliveries and obstetric surgeries, within scope of practice.
• Additional Information: Unit is traveler-friendly, with options for extendable assignments and MSP pitching. Parking options include free parking across the street or a parking garage for a monthly fee.
