Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse Days Shift Location: Healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized post-anesthesia care for surgical patients, supporting recovery and ensuring patient safety during the immediate postoperative period. The role requires teamwork, positive attitude, and adherence to unit policies.
Job Details
- Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, with a high school diploma or equivalent. No minimum years of experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Deliver post-operative care to surgical patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and facilitate recovery protocols.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous PACU experience, teamwork skills, and flexibility for on-call duties.
- Additional Information: On call once per night every two weeks. Shifts needing to be filled are from 9 AM to 9 PM, 9 PM to 9 AM, or 9 PM to 7 AM.
