Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Location not specified. This position involves providing emergency care to an adult and pediatric patient population in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications/Education/Experience: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications; 2 years of relevant experience; valid license in the state or a compact license in hand at submission; at least 1 year of travel or clinical experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations, perform clinical assessments, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center, proficient in ICP monitoring and triage.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work scheduled holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. References covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required. Candidates may be expected to float between sister facilities.
