Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing critical care for patients with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions. It requires utilizing advanced technology and adhering to regulatory standards to deliver exceptional patient care.
Job Details
- Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, ICU experience, three years of relevant experience, Cerner electronic medical record experience, graduation from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
- Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS are required for clinical competency.
- Additional Job Information: The ICU provides multidisciplinary care for diverse patient populations utilizing a wide range of advanced medical devices and technologies. The nurse will perform patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements.
