Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Madison, WI. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population in a Level IV Trauma Center and Acute Stroke Ready Center. The role requires delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on adult and pediatric patients.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Nights, 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekend rotation including holidays.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license (WI RN or Compact RN), BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, TNCC certification, two (2) years of recent Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years, Epic electronic medical record experience, and current Telemetry test clearance prior to start.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center and Pediatric Ready Emergency Department settings.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must pass strict telemetry testing with up to two attempts, including adult and pediatric exams. Traveler required to float as needed.
- Submission Requirements: Clear submission of all required certifications and successful telemetry test results prior to start.
