Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular This position is located at a healthcare facility where the professional will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology, vascular, and radiology procedures. The role involves working in a high-acuity environment, providing specialized skills in angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring, with a focus on patient care and procedural support.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Unit: Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular. Shifts: Days (with varied times), either 8 or 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours weekly. Call required 1-2 days per week and about 2-3 weekends, including holidays. Documentation is performed in Meditech. Monitoring includes Sensis equipment. Procedures involve IR, Vascular, and Cardiac activities. Demonstrates basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures. Can apply specialized skills for angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and intra-aortic balloon pump insertion. Demonstrates understanding of computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures. Maintains knowledge of radiology equipment, image processing, and various imaging modalities.

• Required Qualifications:
  Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an interventional catheterization lab. Education requirements, licensure, and location specifics are aligned with professional standards.

• Schedule:
  Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

• Additional Information:
  Must arrive the Thursday before start date to attend the employee health appointment on Friday. Position has normal urgency and requires the candidate to be prepared for call duties. Demonstrates knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, radiology procedures, and specialized skills related to cardiology and radiology.
