Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) specializing in neurosurgery, spine, and orthopedics for placements within an acute care facility. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures through routine and delegated duties, ensuring adherence to departmental and hospital standards to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: CST licensure (NBSTSA), BLS (AHA), HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with strong neuro, spine, and total joint experience required.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts with variable start times from 6:45 AM to 11:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, including weekends in rotating schedules; on-call required.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Support for neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgical procedures, including robotics such as DaVinci systems. The role involves facilitating sterile procedures, equipment setup, and assisting during surgeries such as craniotomies, spinal fusions, joint replacements, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Additional Requirements: Previous experience with neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries, and familiarity with specific surgical techniques and equipment are preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to provide valid Nursys licensure verification within two weeks, relevant certifications with expiration dates, and two references within the last year.
