Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse The healthcare provider is seeking a skilled OR nurse for a Day shift position at a medical facility. The role involves scrubbing and circulating in a busy surgical environment, requiring a well-rounded professional experienced in multiple service lines including orthopedic, neurological, plastics, trauma, gynecology, urology, and transplant procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid nursing license, minimum of 5 years of OR experience with level 1 trauma and academic medical center background; experience in surgical scrubbing or circulating; Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Assist in a variety of surgical specialties, supporting both scrubbing and circulating roles; adaptable to hospital-wide service line needs, including ortho, neuro, plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant.
• Additional Information: Applicants should be flexible for hospital-wide float, with a preference for those experienced in trauma and academic settings. Candidates must be prepared to assist with a broad range of surgical procedures during a fast-paced environment.
