Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position available in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility. This fast-paced unit handles high-volume deliveries with over 500+ deliveries per month, offering comprehensive maternal care, neonatal services, and high-risk obstetric care.
Job Details
- Qualifications: BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Texas license as a Registered Nurse; Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics; Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service; Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service; Bachelors Degree in Nursing; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a high-risk, fast-paced environment with multidisciplinary coverage, including 24-hour in-house OB coverage, anesthesia, and NICU support. The unit includes LDR suites, C-section suites, Triage rooms, Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and monitored Ante-partum rooms.
