Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift position at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on a general medical observation unit, with responsibilities including managing patients with conditions such as COPD, PNA, infections, and UTI. The RN will work a 12-hour shift and must be comfortable with Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen therapy.

Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor
• Location: Within approximately 50 miles of the facility (verifiable permanent address required)
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Schedule: Shift hours are 10 per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical specialty, minimum 2 years of experience, and current certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Additional Information: Experience in managing COPD, PNA, infections, and UTI patients; comfortable with Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen. E/O weekend coverage required. Cover sheet submission required.
