Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized obstetric and postpartum care to women throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The position requires a dedicated professional to support high-risk OB patients and manage diverse clinical scenarios within a culturally diverse population.

Job Details

Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
Education Requirements: 1 year of experience (minimum)
Location Requirements: California license accepted; compact license in hand at submission
Years of Experience: 1 year
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist with high-risk deliveries, monitor fetal heart rates, support postpartum care, and ensure maternal and neonatal safety using advanced obstetric skills and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior work at a Providence facility, providing location and dates, along with two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years (6 months for CNAs).
