Medical Surgical Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor Johnstown, PA
This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor within a regional trauma center. The role requires managing a patient ratio of up to 7:1, with an emphasis on post-operative care for adult patients with trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal, and surgical needs. Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license with at least 2 years of experience, current certifications, ability to manage a 7:1 patient ratio, EPIC experience, trauma experience, willingness to float to units with comparable patient populations
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility and friendliness, strong clinical skills in trauma care and post-op management
• Additional Information: All candidates must pass facility-specific dysrhythmia and dosage math tests prior to employment. The unit cares for adult patients with varied surgical and trauma needs. Dress code requires professional appearance with no facial piercings other than a single nose stud.
• Submission Requirements: Must be available to start by 10/11/2026 and work through 01/10/2027.
