Description

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Grand Rapids. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the ICU setting, following established care plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Candidates will be responsible for assessing patients, initiating discharge planning, and ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Details

  • Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (if CIRH only).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience preferred.
  • Location Requirements: Candidates must be available to work at the specified healthcare location in Grand Rapids.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessment within 8 hours of patient admission, collaborates with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and documents all assessments and interventions in accordance with policy. Responsible for patient education, discharge planning, and effective communication to support continuity of care. Provides supervision and delegation to ancillary staff, contributes to team building, and identifies opportunities for professional growth. Assumes charge responsibility following orientation as requested.
