Job Summary
Operating Room (Open Heart) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within the operating room, focusing on open heart and vascular procedures. The role requires hands-on experience in complex cardiac surgeries, including scrub and circulate responsibilities for open heart cases, with a schedule of weekdays from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Illinois licensure, BLS certification, 3+ years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience, vascular experience, and open heart case experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Cases include cardiac open heart, vascular, and endovascular procedures. The candidate must be able to work within a call rotation of 6-8 days per month, with call time within 30 minutes driving distance to the hospital. No sleep room is available at the hospital.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience scrub and circulating for open heart surgeries is highly preferred.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to submit credentials ensuring compliance with client-specific notes by Thursday before the start date.
