Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN Richmond, Virginia. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy Labor and Delivery unit within a healthcare facility. The role includes managing patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, adhering to unit protocols, and ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns.

Shift: Days
Shift Hours: 12 hours
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current (within previous 2 years) Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring, Labor and Delivery experience, current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Virginia nursing license, and at least 1 year of relevant RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience at facilities with 3000+ births per year, familiarity with Novii monitors, iMobile, and other unit-specific equipment.
Responsibilities include managing labor, delivery, recovery, and antepartum care, circulating for C-section procedures, providing breastfeeding assistance, and following unit policies.
Certifications required: NRP, BLS.
