Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Not specified. This ICU position involves providing critical care for patients with complex medical conditions in a hospital environment. The role requires delivering specialized nursing care for critically ill patients, often involving advanced life support technologies and procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education Requirements: Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificates; active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses; and valid drivers license matching demographics.
• Experience Requirement: Up to date resume with a minimum of 2 years of ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU experience; 4-5 years preferred. Required travel experience in ICU setting; minimum of 2 years.
• Schedule: Nights shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is necessary; heart experience is highly preferred. Floating to units excluding Behavioral and Emergency Room may be required.
• Unit Specifics: The unit has 42 beds with designated specialty areas including neuro/med, CTICU, and surgical/trauma, using specialized equipment such as IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Artic Sun).
• Submission Requirements: Up-to-date resume documenting ICU experience, RTO included at submission, and skills checklist matching the ICU specialty.
