Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Cleveland, OH. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients within a specialized medical unit, focusing on patient safety and team collaboration. The RN will supervise clinical staff and implement individualized care plans to enhance patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, providing patient education, and participating in patient rehabilitation programs. The RN initiates discharge planning from the day of admission and ensures accurate documentation of all assessments, interventions, and responses.
• Skills/Qualifications: BLS Certification (required prior to first shift). ACLS certification (required prior to first shift, for CIRH only). Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired. Stepdown experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN provides direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, delegates appropriately, and participates in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. They assume charge responsibility after orientation and pursue ongoing professional development.
