Job Summary
A Step Down Unit Professional is needed in a healthcare facility located in the designated area. The role involves working on a 12-hour night shift, providing specialized care for adult patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and work within a dynamic healthcare team.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: Two years of experience, prior travel experience, TN license or compact license on file at time of submission, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Schedule: Stepdown - 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit is a 21-bed facility with patient ratios of 1:4. Staff may float to Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room departments as needed. The EMR system used is Cerner. Weekend shifts are required. The unit cares for adult patients aged 18 and older, with a focus on cardiac and respiratory care. The schedule is made by the unit team. IVS will interview and the manager will extend offers. Candidates must be flexible to work holidays, with two of the three holidays required, and all time off requests should be submitted beforehand, not including more than one holiday.
