Job Summary
Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN) Madison, WI
This role involves providing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients in a busy hospital setting. The position requires evaluating patient responses to nursing interventions and supporting pre-operative and phase II post-operative procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RN license are required.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty.
- Location: Madison, WI.
- Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have at least two years of inpatient RN experience, experience with Epic electronic health record system, and Basic Arrhythmia experience. The traveler will be required to pass Telemetry testing prior to start, including adult and pediatric cardiac interpretation exams with a passing score of 80% or higher. The role involves float rotation as needed, with local rules requiring at least 50 miles from the facility for non-local candidates. The assignment duration is from 11/16/2026 to 02/15/2027.
