Job Summary
ORT (Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician) Located in a healthcare facility, this position involves assisting in the care of the surgical patient by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during operative procedures. The role requires understanding of surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgeon, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: Certified Surgical Technician; High School Graduate or GED; graduate from an accredited program; 0 years minimum experience required; location specifics as provided.
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures by managing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Follow instructions from physicians and registered nurses, adhere to hospital policies, and maintain sterile fields and safety environments by practicing standard precautions.
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of sterile field, standard precautions, operating room policies, and surgical supplies and equipment.
• Submission Requirements: Qualified candidates must meet all certification and educational requirements and be prepared to work the specified schedule starting 11/16/2026 through 02/14/2027.
