Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse - Night Shifts Located at the healthcare provider organization, this role involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in compliance with hospital standards and unit policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, NIHSS certification (Muskogee, South, Vinita). Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and delivering culturally sensitive nursing care.
• Effectively documenting clinical data, utilizing correct medical terminology and abbreviations, and ensuring timely patient discharge education.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support unit and hospital goals through participation in PI and education activities.
• Attending mandatory in-services and meeting unit educational standards.
• Demonstrates sound professional judgment, delegates appropriately, and addresses changing unit needs effectively.
• Additional preferred skills include Epic experience in South, Vinita, Yale, and familiarity with Med/Surg RN responsibilities and Omnicell.
