Job Summary
Operating Room Surgical Technician (ORT) this position is based in an acute care healthcare setting. The role involves assisting in surgical procedures, preparing operating rooms, and ensuring smooth operation during surgeries. This is a7a-5p schedule with a minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 11/02/2026 and ending on 01/30/2027.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty, required AHA (American Heart Association) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and preferred Surgical Technician certification from NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing).
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, with at least 40 hours per week, from 7a-5p.
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
