Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) RN Location: Unknown. This position requires a highly experienced ER nurse with strong travel experience. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a high patient turnover rate, managing approximately 190-200 patients daily. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to handle a dynamic, demanding setting effectively.

Job Details

Position Description: ER RN must have strong emergency room experience and travel experience within a 50-mile radius. The shift is 12 hours rotating start times at 5a, 7a, 9a, 10a, 11a, with every shift to be worked. The role involves triaging ambulance patients at the bedside, managing a busy ER environment, and providing excellent patient care focused on nursing excellence and patient experience.
Required Qualifications: California nursing license; BLS (AHA only); ACLS (AHA only); PALS (AHA only) or ENPC; NIHSS; 2+ years of recent ER experience; superior references; travel experience; EPIC experience; fully comfortable with the requested shift requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), 3-5 years of ER experience, some trauma and pediatrics experience.
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts starting at 5a, 7a, 9a, 10a, and 11a; minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Candidates must meet all specified requirements, including EPIC work history and current active licenses. Manager is unable to approve holiday time off requests.
