Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse - Nights This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a specialized progressive care setting. The role focuses on individualized patient assessments, planning, and delivering high-quality, safe, therapeutic care, especially in managing complex and high-risk clinical situations.

Job Details

Licensure: California Registered Nurse license
Certifications: CPR, NIHSS
Education: BSN or ADN required
Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0730; minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: At least three years of recent RN experience working in a registered nurse role; at least two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area; fluency with the nursing process, individualized assessment, management of complex clinical situations, and patient and family advocacy.
Additional Information: Candidates must have ventilator, ICU step-down, and ICU skill set experience. Care is delivered to a diverse adult patient population, emphasizing safety, evaluation, and high-quality outcomes. Candidates are expected to collaborate effectively and seek additional resources as needed.
