Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Long Term Care, Baldwyn. This position provides day-shift nursing care for geriatric, short-term, post-acute, long-term acute care, and tracheostomy patients in a long-term acute care setting. The assignment requires strong clinical skills, long-term acute care experience, and the ability to manage a patient assignment with available ancillary support.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:08 p.m., 36 hours per week.
• Assignment Dates: 12/02/202602/27/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of two years of long-term acute care (LTAC) experience; prior travel experience required, although strong first-time travelers may be considered; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a 400-plus-bed setting or Level II trauma setting; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Patient population includes geriatric, short-term, post-acute, long-term acute care, and tracheostomy patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:20. Ancillary support is available on day and night shifts, and a nurse practitioner is on duty Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
