Job Summary

Medical Surgical With Telemetry Nights. This travel nursing position provides care for adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurosurgical, medical-surgical, and telemetry needs. The role requires orthopedic experience, proficiency with total joint procedures and fracture care, and the ability to support a patient assignment ratio of approximately 1:56.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of nursing experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; orthopedic experience with proficiency in total joint procedures and fracture care; ability to perform heavy lifting; influenza vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; previous charge experience; experience with electronic health record documentation.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend required.
• Additional Information: Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients receiving care for orthopedic surgery, total joint procedures, stable fractures, nonsurgical orthopedic conditions, neurosurgery, pain management, and medical-surgical conditions. No on-call responsibilities are required.
