Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Carlsbad. This 13-week assignment involves providing emergency care in a Level 3 Trauma setting. The role requires strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 6:30 p.m.7:00 a.m., 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Assignment Dates: 11/23/202602/22/2027.
• Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Emergency Department care in a Level 3 Trauma setting with a 4:1 patient ratio. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process; conducting thorough assessments; communicating findings effectively; administering medications and monitoring for side effects; documenting patient care; following safety and infection-control standards; supporting quality-improvement initiatives; and providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel. Floating may occur within the nurses scope and experience, including to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) areas as needed. Full uniform with any color scrubs is permitted.
