Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation, Plano, Texas. The position provides nursing care to adult rehabilitation patients recovering from post-surgical orthopedic procedures, stroke, neurological conditions, traumatic brain injury, and other injuries or illnesses. The role requires inpatient rehabilitation and medical-surgical experience, with a focus on supporting patient recovery and independence.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure; minimum 23 years of experience; inpatient rehabilitation experience; medical-surgical experience; ability to provide care for adult rehabilitation patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification preferred but not required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required. Call is required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provides care for patients ages 18 and older, including individuals recovering from post-surgical hip and knee procedures, stroke, traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Typical patient assignments include 67 patients. Royal blue scrubs and closed-toe, nonslip shoes are required; Crocs are not permitted. The shift begins at 6:45 a.m.
