Job Summary

Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical Floor. This acute-care role supports patients with medical-surgical and oncology-related conditions, including congestive heart failure, hypertension, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal conditions, and acute renal failure. The position requires clinical assessment, medication management, telemetry-related care, and the ability to manage titratable intravenous medications.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Current nursing license required; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; minimum of 2 years of experience required.
Schedule: Day shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday scheduling is required.
Assignment Dates: 11/16/202602/15/2027.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Provides care for patients with congestive heart failure, hypertension, chest pain workups, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbations, asthma, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. Responsibilities include managing titratable medications such as analgesics, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives; caring for patients requiring continuous positive airway pressure, bilevel positive airway pressure, high-flow oxygen, or ventilator support; and completing required orientation during the designated orientation week. Self-scheduling and block scheduling may be available. Navy blue scrubs are required.
