Job Summary

Registered Nurse Dialysis Unit. This position provides nursing care in an outpatient chronic dialysis setting, including patient assessment before, during, and after dialysis treatments. The role supports interdisciplinary care planning and delivery of safe, patient-centered dialysis services.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: At least 2.5 years of recent dialysis nursing experience, including experience in an outpatient dialysis clinic; active North Dakota or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification; experience using EPIC.
Schedule: Day shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other Saturday required.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis patient assessments; dialysis treatment administration; interdisciplinary assessments and care plans; and medication administration. The unit uses B. Braun dialysis machines and provides care for four patients with support from a float or charge nurse. Department orientation includes the water system, dialysis equipment, policies, procedures, and medication administration.
