Outpatient Dialysis RN
Location
- Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Dakota
- Dialysis (2 years of experience)
- Dialysis experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- CNN or CDN certification
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
- Every other Saturday required
- Closed Sundays
Unit Details
- 32-station dialysis unit
- Maintains HD care of 4 patients with help from float nurse or charge nurse
Clinical Duties
- Outpatient/chronic dialysis care
- Patient assessment pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis
- Perform dialysis treatments
- Complete interdisciplinary assessments and care plans
Equipment
- B Braun Dialysis Machines
Orientation
- Department orientation includes the department, water system, dialysis equipment, policy practices, and medication administration detail
Additional Notes
- Travelers within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Local travel rate applies to travelers living 60 to 80 miles from the facility
- Generally does not float, but floating may be available if desired
- Manager will reach out directly to interview prior to offering
