Registered Nurse, Operating Room, West Palm Beach, FL provides perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting. The role supports orthopedic, general, vascular, podiatric, and hand procedures while functioning independently and contributing to a strong team environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; one week of call participation is required as part of a rotating schedule.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Circulating experience in orthopedic, general surgery, and vascular surgery
  • Ability to function independently in a fast-paced operating room
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
  • Experience with total joint procedures, shoulder and knee scopes, fracture repair, podiatry, laparoscopic and open general surgery, arteriovenous fistula creation, and hand procedures
• Additional Information:
  • Patient care is provided with one registered nurse and one operating room technician per room.
  • The operating room includes seven beds and supports a range of surgical procedures.
  • Responsibilities include anticipating upcoming case needs, taking initiative, and demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Navy blue scrubs are provided.
  • Recognition programs and team celebrations may be available.
