Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department role supporting a 12-hour day-shift schedule in a healthcare setting. The position requires labor and delivery expertise, prior travel experience, the ability to circulate, and flexibility to meet unit staffing needs. Weekend coverage is required, and the schedule is determined by the unit.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required, and block scheduling is not available.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery; prior travel experience; ability to circulate; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), fetal monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and TN or multistate Registered Nurse (RN) licensure documentation on file at submission.
Additional Information:
- Orientation is available only on 11/30, 12/07, and 12/14.
- Surgical scrubs are provided.
- The position supports a labor and delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:12.
- The unit determines the work schedule.
